I am left thinking about this piece days later. I’ve never seen a solo show like this one. The storytelling is incredibly unique, this show definitely takes you on a journey. I really don’t want to offer any preconceived impressions.. just see it!
What I didn't like
It’s so good, and I’d like to see it again to consider my questions. On a first viewing, a couple of later transitions feel a little clunky narrative wise.. it’s non linear so possibilities are endless, but once or twice I couldn’t figure what took us from one place to the next. But maybe that’s inevitable and totally fine.
My overall impression
For something bizarrely poignant and hilarious, shocking and completely fascinating, this beautifully crafted solo piece is not to be missed. Totally unexpected and very effective. The writer/performer Josiah is incredibly talented, his physical/vocal work is super impressive. He is truly a force to be witnessed and he has delivered a top notch Fringe show.
