This is a show about addiction that is in fact not at all about addiction and really about a best friendship, honesty, betrayal, hamsters, and forgiveness---of yourself as well as your friends. I cried about ten minutes in, and then laughed through those tears until my hair stood on end, and then cried of laughter again. I left feeling utterly inspired about storytelling as a whole....

I really can't put into words how much I loved this show. Personal, relatable, kind, angry, thoughtful, hilarious, wonderful, heartbreaking, idk, probably a billion other adjectives.I think Nick is uniquely talented. A really gifted performer, and I felt pretty honored that he shared so much of himself with us. 10000/10. ...

Funny, dark and disturbing, Nick Pupo's "Addicted" is a coming of age story that has it all, innocence, grade school crushes, tomfoolery, love and friendship. As adolescence sets in, things get serious, lust, lies, substance and seduction temp the soul. Nick does an amazing job weaving these stories, mixing humor with serious topics and suspenseful situations. This show is "The Basketball Diaries" meets "Panic In Needle Park" for a new generation. I'm just glad Nick made it out alive to tell these tales. I would love to see these narratives expanded upon in the written word. Where is Penguin Random-House when you need them??--I'm recommending to as many people I see at Fringe....

I am truly blown away by Nick's talent and storytelling aptitude in "Addicted". Though he chose to perform the show in an intimate setting (which worked beautifully), his charismatic delivery could easily be translated to a concert hall, tomorrow. Hilarious, touching, and introspective, this show is top-tier. ...

Nick lays it all on the table; it's hilarious, heartfelt, and at times hard to digest (like heroine I'm assuming). Run, don't walk, to witness!...

I absolutely loved this show and highly recommend it. Nick’s presence and intensity onstage is magnetic and my heart was racing the entire time—a reflection of his incredible storytelling. The show is laugh out loud funny with moments balancing between silly and dark humor, but equally finds its way into depths that had tears dropping out of my eyeballs. I did not want the show to end and would see it again. Nick is receptive to the room and so present in the story; this balance of being able to flip flop between extremely committed and strong acting chops and sensitivity of live performance is just right for me. It even inspired me with some ideas—-to me it doesn’t get better than that and that’s when I know I’m seeing good art…..it makes m...
