I really enjoyed the actors physicality and the diversity of emotional choices. The micro-expressions and physical embodiment of suffering created a unique character with a relatable conflict. It was a wonderful character study of how the body relates to emotional and physical pain.... full review

Chance is an incredible movement actor. Every movement he made felt strategic and it made the space feel so alive. He had such powerful energy on the stage, making the apartment seem even more small and dreary, like it couldn't hold in such a big force. I feel as if I witnessed the discovery of the next new movie star when taking-in Chance Lang’s one-man show presented at a performance at Stephanie Feury Studio Theatre — one of the venues at the current Hollywood Fringe Festival. Lang’s command of the stage was instantaneous and his portrayal of a down-and-out (booze? drugs? romance? ALL OF THAT!!) young man searching for answers was nothing short of total commitment filled with pathos and ethos. Lang’s commitment was so complete I wanted to stage an intervention right there on the spot. That he somehow seamlessly wove a solo music number (accompanying himself on his guitar) was frosting on the cake: such a powerful, melodic voice and so comfortable and at ease with his guitar.
