What I liked
Mark’s character work is incredible, each person he plays is distinct and their objectives are clear, how he jumps between them so quickly is beyond me. His timing is fantastic, and his willingness to go big is greatly appreciated. That being said, he can also find tiny, beautiful moments and reveal them to us in an unexpected way. This is a phenomenal production, I’m so happy it’s continuing on to other festivals. More people need to see this show.

My overall impression
The highest of high energy shows, I absolutely loved Mark Pleases You! Mark is a master of timing, the play moves fast but he somehow slips in asides to the audience, all while jumping between very specific characters. With a core story about acceptance, and a finale that made my face hurt from smiling so much, I can’t recommend this show enough.
