Ian is such a giving performer, and is an expert at showing the audience always how he feels about what he’s doing, and what he’s saying through just his demeanor. He carries us through history, bot personal, and not, always with emotional availability.

My overall impression
A surprisingly poignant look at how dispensable yet relied upon black men are to America, specifically in the military. I was able to get carried away at laughing at the absurdity of what was presented to me, and several times snapped back into the tragedies presented to me.
