I Can't Indian Good

Hands down best solo show at HFF23! This is my second time seeing this show and I’ve been blown away each time! Brandon is an extraordinary talent, disappearing into every character he inhabits, each one distinct from the last. The entire audience laughed with his amazingly timed pauses, facial expressions etc. His larger than life physicality and movements enhanced the play in every way. I was captivated by his story, identifying with his thought provoking exploration of identity, and made me appreciative of how fortunate we are to just be ourselves. ... full review

Great show, relatable, funny, impressive physicality. As a child of immigrants, I really related this. But Honestly, I think everyone can. Lots of laughs and Brandon also uses his comedy to teach important lessons. I really think this is what art is about. His story, while personal, is incredibly relatable for audiences of all backgrounds. Everyone questions their place in the universe and how we fit.
