I love well written, actor driven pieces that remind us that you don’t need a lot of set, costumes & lighting when you’re in the hands of a very good actor who knows how to tell a story with words and movement. Rodney is amazing. At ease in front of an audience, he’s one of those performers who make you relax and enjoy early on because you know you’re in good hands. One of my favorite things about this show is how subtly his movement choices make such a huge impact in the storytelling. (Pssssssst – his standup is brilliant, too.)
What I didn't like
The venue could have been better: He needed a bigger one.
My overall impression
Ya made me laugh so hard I cried … and I sobbed like a baby. WHAT A SHOW!
