His reference points – the characters that came to life were all powerful and distinctive. The conversation with God was prolific and viscerally relatable.
What I didn't like
Not Much except more time, didn’t want the story to end.
My overall impression
Rodney does a fantastic job of bringing an intersectional experience to the stage. His candor, comedic timing and the juxtaposition of his earthly and Heavenly Father make for an amazing hour of humor, emotion and entertainment. Tangentially his craftsmanship as an actor is highlighted through a combination of voice work, storytelling and a gravitas that’s worth every dollar spent. This show is one to see, one to hear and most of all, one to feel.
