I've been a fan of David LeBarron's writing since his first fringe show 10,ooo years ago. Insightful, informative, and magical. This fusion of myth meets Myth Thing is a challenging dare into several worlds of queerdom and our place within it. Loved every moment. Brave and above many heads. Great work.... full review

A surprisingly touching and entertaining examination of queer consciousness and sense of self expressed as a retelling of fables through the ages, brought home to the present in a deeply personal final act. The language throughout was beautiful. I highly recommend this show.... full review

David LeBarron turns out fantastic performances in Monsters, playing four powerfully queer and meaningful roles which throughout the show balance mythological portrayal with personal, vulnerable truth. Well acted, paced, and scripted, LeBarron's monsters each find distinct ways to connect to the audience, delivering compelling renderings of their apparent monstrousness just as he puts their inner, honest humanity on display. ... full review
