What I liked

Aria’s original songs are top notch… both the compositions themselves and her singing. Her stage presence is riveting and extremely compelling!

What I didn't like

While I understand the Fringe Festival is trying to pack in as many acts/artists in these venues, it was jarring and frustrating to be hustled out of the theater so quickly after such a moving experience. It would be better if they built more of a buffer in between acts/performances to give both the performers and their audiences time to transition.

My overall impression

Aria is a magnificent performer… her acting, singing and original songs are phenomenal… it’s clear she is following her muse, her Osun and her creative expression is a healing force! Her beauty and talent shine strong and bright in this moving performance — a performance that is raw and vulnerable yet also sophisticated and insightful. The journey we take with Aria is painful, yes, but ultimately healing. It takes a lot of courage to do what she’s doing and she invites her audience to go there with her, which is scary for most of us…but Aria brings us through the darkness and into the light with strength, beauty, grace, and some stellar songs sung with her exquisite voice that feels like warm honey. Don’t miss this moving performance!
