I loved the sparse use of props and scenic design in order to create a fluid, ever changing world that also showcased the centerpiece of the production, the actors. The portrayal of the son is heartbreaking but grounded with a great deal of pathos and humanity, as well as some well placed moments of levity. The Father, Mother, and Actress all delivered moving authentic moments that made me long for a full ensemble version of the story, if only to know them more.

My overall impression
A beautiful show with painfully human characters brought to life by raw, unflinching performances, clever stagecraft, and sharp direction. This solo show turned ensemble piece is an intriguing and inventive theatrical exploration of a profound piece of writing, and the actors do great work bringing it to the stage.
