Wild Hand has a very strong performer in Daneille McPaul who portrays Crawford Goldsby, a western outlaw with the alias Cherokee Bill. I was immediately transported to the jail cell of an outlaw awaiting his execution when Danielle, as Crawford Goldsby, spun the tales of his past. These stories were captivating and revealing both of Crawford and of the time in which he lived. The Wild West was not for the faint of heart. From recounting memories of chicken blood splatters, shooting a man out of pettiness, and doing whatever it took to protect family, the dark humor and humanity conveyed throughout the show by McPaul held my attention and made me want to learn more about Crawford Goldsby who is a figure of history worthy of a sharp show like Wild Hand.

My overall impression
Wild Hand packs a punch and feels larger and more epic than a solo show. The performance and writing truly transported me to the Wild West.
