What an amazing show. Hilarious, important without being preachy. Stellar performances across the board. Amazing script. It’s kind of a perfect show. It reminded me of a great episode of mash. I loved that it never got to terrible, but you felt the possibility of the worse possible situation at all times. This show is a must see... full review

Monkeys is a fantastic production. It runs the gamut from charming to hilarious at times, to genuinely heartbreaking. You truly feel for each of the characters, and are deeply, emotionally invested in them. The writing and performances are powerful and optimistic. The story, while fresh and unique in its own right, was reminiscent of other accounts of white supremacy and labor exploitation. It was very much its own piece of art that is now also a part of a canon of important works that demonstrate how inextricably linked all persecuted minorities are to one another.
