What I liked
With such a small space and limited props, I was worried that I would get lost in the transitions between scenes but I was actually fascinated and impressed! With such a great and skilled cast, I didn’t feel like I was just watching people act in a theater but rather watching and believing a story unfold in real time! A beautiful thing to feel and see.
What I didn't like
I personally liked the use of simple audio object sounds used such as gun fire or other sounds used to our attention to a part of the stage. Without drowning the show in different and or many sounds, I would suggest to incorporate more/other sounds that may give more impact to the show or sound cues to change scenes/attention getters. The dialog, lighting, and props played a great role and an audio sound would only add depth to the overall story and production.
My overall impression
The combination of the story and dialog is one of the MANY things that kept me engaged and sitting at the edge of my seat! This could not of been of achieved without all the efforts from the entire production. The actors/actresses really made me feel the emotional conflicts the characters had to face. I took my daughter to watch the production and as she stated, “I could really feel their emotion”
