The whole presentation from the moment you walk into the theatre immerses you in the world of the main character in a way that is relatable, funny, & poignant. The sound and light cues, program design and writing, and sparse but effective set pieces made for an immersive experience that felt very authentic. I loved the exploration of anxiety, as someone who has experienced anxiety it does a wonderful job of representing a possible version of that reality. Jill is a natural, charismatic performer with an easy comic timing that doesn’t feel forced or performative.
