I felt the magic of Fringe tonight. Jill is a phenomenal, mesmerizing performer, equally spectacular at writing, improvisation, comedy, clowning and audience interaction.... full review

Hilarious in both concept and execution, with a light dusting of existential dread, you've got to make sure you see this.... full review

It was a unique take, a twist from the very beginning of the show to the end. The play going through catastrophe and what would happen if the apocalypse were to rain upon us, what do we do but having the show go on.... full review

This is a wonderfully imaginative show from front to back. Variety show-esque with a lot going on, the show still maintains a potent thematic through line surrounding the hopes and promises of our twenties. I'm eager to see the iterations of this show to come.... full review

This show is expertly crafted chaos and I loved every single second and wanted more. Jill's acting (and Calliope's direction) was flawless, and fascinating. The script was insanely funny and Jill nailed every beat, every turn, with precision and intention. ... full review

While not only hilarious in concept and execution, this show is incredibly heartfelt. These final 45 minutes on earth shared with Jill has you reeling with laughter one moment, and contemplating the human condition the next. An incredibly unique show and a MUST see! Jill and Calliope have truly put on something special. Kudos to this dynamic duo; I cannot wait to see where they both go from here! ... full review

A show that deals with the need to perform, be perfect, heartbreak, the end of the world, and whether any of what we do ever even matters. Oh, and a dash of mental illness. Young folds all this into 50 minutes while keeping the show light, even silly, because the conceit is that this desperate character is going to perform all of Macbeth because, eff it, the world-is-ending-why-not. If these are the stakes this character needed to show us everything, it’s worth it, because she shows us the drive to create despite having to work a job and the catharsis of grief during a breakup when you *don’t* run back into their arms. I dug this show. ... full review

My wife and I had a fun time attending "Macbeth" at the Fringe Festival this evening, beautifully directed by Calliope Weisman and written and performed by the very funny Jill Young. We saw it on closing night, but if it comes back, don't miss it.... full review

Amazing performance. I also found the meta audience interaction very fun--though if you're a person who does not like this, I recommend sitting a few rows away from the stage.... full review
