What I liked

I loved the environmental acting, telling the audience what section of hell we were. The acting was INSANE. It was hilarious and dramatic in a raw human way. I loved how the acting started when the audience was still finding their seats, the text at the top, the music, the sound records.
As a well seasoned Dante’s fan, this show made me think on what the Divine Comedy IS. Dante Alighieri wrote the Comedy after his exile, and he suffered greatly for it. The idea that it’s, after all, just a story to help process something that caves your chest in? The absurdity of human emotions? Incredible.

What I didn't like

I would love to watch this again and again! Maybe even have it recorded! with Closed Captions! That’s it, my only gripe is that I’m not watching it again right now!

My overall impression

It was horrific! It was gross! It was cathartic! It was GREAT! I remember clearly toward the end, during the song, I had to sit there and take a moment to remember that this was a live performance, that I was actually there in person, that there wasn’t a screen protecting me from the emotions, that the actors were right there.
