My overall impression

Truthfully, I don’t understand how this production earned the right to be part of the Best of Fringe. It is not theater, and in my humble opinion, was not very professionally done.

Don’t get me wrong, the magic was good, and obviously Bijan has talent as a magician. But this is not theater.

The show started more than 20 minutes late for no apparent reason, forcing me to have to do something I haven’t done in three years of Fringe – walk out of a performance so as not to miss the headline show of the evening.

In addition, Bijan had no technical assistance with lights and sound, and it was obvious that he was having problems keeping it together.

The show is much more appropriate for a setting like The Magic Castle. The magic was fun, but the entire production needs some major tweaking before it is worthy of the title “Best of Fringe.”
