My overall impression

Although he was the director of this magnificent show, I first encountered Rich Clark as a photographer, working on press photos for individual performances. When he invited me to partake of his vision, I was all too happy to oblige, and I’m glad I did.

This play is a thinking man’s gem. What begins as a tale about a group of college students trying to come to grips with life and independence from their parents evolves into a gripping tale of choice and consequence.

Brent and Wendy are a happy couple, enjoying getting to know each other. Wendy is often a guest at Brent’s apartment, which he shares with Jefferson and Kevin. Life is fun and games until a mysterious package arrives from an old flame of Brent’s.

Add to the mix Wendy’s friend Lynette, who has the hots for Jefferson, and Brent’s older sister Cassidy, and the advice comes at Brent from all angles.

I won’t spoil the ending, but it was definitely worth the ride.

Don’t miss this spectacular show – it’s a sure-fire hit and definitely should be extended with the rest of the Best of the Fringe.
