What I liked
The set was beautiful, with the pretty posters, the cool bar, the relaxed vibe. The actors each had a specific and distinct way of speaking, and the barfly in particular was so much fun to watch. The bartender was also a gem.
What I didn't like
We were in the back, and sometimes we had to strain to hear some of the dialogue, but this is a minor quibble.
My overall impression
We all loved it! The actors were great, the writing was tight and focused, and the ending had us all astonished. The play explores many complex themes, and you really find yourself caught up in Domino’s struggle. It was really engrossing, watching his journey unfold. Despite his faults, you really found yourself rooting for him. The supporting cast was excellent…a must see.
