I thought the set was beautiful and really set the mood…much more visually striking than your usual Fringe show. The performances were pitch-perfect, each character had a distinct voice and purpose, and the complex themes explored are very timely. Domino’s journey was compelling to witness, it was impossible to take your eyes off of him as you watched his character develop and become fuller as the play progressed. The ending was so unexpected and so perfect. It was a thrilling 60 minutes. Go see it.
What I didn't like
A little more vocal projection in spots would have been good and the timing of the ending was a bit off, but these are all fixable things.
My overall impression
I really hope the play finds a wider audience. A play this nuanced, well-acted and well-written deserves a bigger platform than Fringe.
