My overall impression
After seeing Cheryl Francis Harrington’s engaging show “I Met Someone” I felt that I knew the struggles that women in her situation face trying to find the right man. Even though her story was personal, I could see a universal appeal she brings to her story that many women and men face. Cheryl brings such a lightness to a rather heartfelt story which gives us a chance to smile at a very tragic situation. The old addage of “I have to laugh to keep from crying” certainly applies here. Cheryl eases from one character into another with such effortless precision you never question where you are in her story. She was engaging and thoroughly entertaining. I recommend everyone see this exceptional show.
