This was a like watching dynamite explode in slow motion from start to finish, witnessing the spiritual and mental deconstruction of the character as he bit by bit shatters in front of a live audience. It’s bravely written and acted, as he tries to come to terms with his flaws pickled in beer, football, the loss of his dog and more. Beautifully dire, the character loses himself as he is coping with tragic, life loss.
I found it spoke to much of what is going on in the world today.
