What I liked
I don’t know if this will make sense, but the writing and the performance was reminiscent of Phillip Glass. Like a piece of music that you think you’ve heard but it keeps returning over and over, slightly different and more intense.

My overall impression
This show is soul work. It’s dark. It travels down. It has some levity but ultimately it just… goes there. Which is satisfying in it’s own right. I wouldn’t necessarily want to spend time with the mess of this man in real life, but Ben’s version of this character and his breakdown is arresting.
