What I liked

The acting, the writing, the intimate space … even the props made me laugh!

What I didn't like

I liked it more after seeing it the first time. That’s always what I look for in a performance — ideas, phrases, and plot turns that marinate with you, revealing layers to the show.

My overall impression

There was so I enjoyed about seeing Tourrorists at the Hollywood Fringe! While the play began as a sardonic political satire about some of the caricatured ‘types’ we love to hate on (the maga-happy Karen, the closeted incel) … marooned in the Capitol during the January 6th insurrection, the play soon evolved into a more nuanced meditation on what we actually share. I laughed so much, but left the theater with a lot to think about. Think sharp, caustic writing combined with energetic performances … what’s not to love? I liked the show so much I saw it twice and I would totally see it again.
