My overall impression
I really enjoyed this play. The brilliance of Holmes and the camaraderie of Watson are a joy to behold. The writing is sharp and amusing. Mawson and Vernazza are perfectly cast as the duo, and I could have happily stayed to watch more tales unfold for Holmes and Watson. The staging is simple but effective, and allows the audience imagination to work away to it’s own limits, and the music is beautiful and gin house atmospheric.
Highly recommended.
