About the Project
Sad Tire Theatre is an up and coming theatre troupe out of the Southeastern Michigan region. They were founded on the idea of what they are calling “Disastrous Comedy.” They are inspired by tragedy and the healing powers of laughter. Their overall themes touch on hard topics but through a somewhat tasteful manner they are able to find humor through the wreckage. The inspiration of having a light at the end of the tunnel. Sad Tire Theatre draws from many different actors, directors, writers, and technicians throughout the Midwest to receive also promote many different view points and styles in terms of culture, politics, economics, and of course comedy in order to present an unbiased look at many different “disasters” that affect the world today.
