About the Project
Cucumbers and Commitment is a one-woman show about love, loss, grief, and redemption. Iranian American artist, Hasti Bakian, guides the audience through song, dance, and interactive theater as she uses humor to talk about dating in your 20s, longing for love, losing a grandmother, and the grief she and so many others carry from the 1988 mass massacre of innocent prisoners in Iran.
