NOT Another Midsummer

What a BLAST!!!! This show is so much fun to experience and has so many different elements to it. Be ready to be immersed in the world of this acting company that has lots of surprises! I enjoyed that I was able to drink throughout and interact in lots of different ways. It’s Shakespeare meets immersive theater meets a fun night out. We loved it! What a heart-warming, engaging show to end our Monday night. This cast really cares about their work and you can tell they really want you to enjoy it too. Every little detail was so well done. For ex: the lion’s mane tutu, the drinking game, the call outs to tech crew, and the puppet show. A really clever deconstruction and reinterpretation of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM that has elements of POINT BREAK LIVE and sprinklings of immersive theater, helped by having more than a few true stars in the cast. Fun delightful romp with an interactive twist! I really enjoyed the premise of an acting troupe putting on Midsummer. The interactive elements enhanced the play and were so fun. Also, I appreciated how well all the actors handled the language. ... full review
