What I liked
The performances are stellar across, the board, every moment you are glued to the work that is happening on stage. A very good argument could be made for this being the best ensemble of the Fringe this year. The pacing is top notch, the script is a complete bullseye.
What I didn't like
A cast of three while impressive and virtually flawless feels a bit too small for all the characters being played. The actors nailed it, making sure each character felt unique but I think a fourth actor could help with some of the constant costume changes and character changes. Keeping the core trio but a 4th performer to swing with the supporting cast.
My overall impression
A show that will stick with you long after you have left the theater. With incredibly nuanced and powerful performances and a strikingly horrific and captivating story at it’s core. Sometimes beautiful, often terrifying but always engaging and challenging. This is a play that dares to dive into the conversation of body autonomy in a way I have never seen before. Finding a delicate balance in a concept that could have easily been considered absurd, but it’s confident and it nails it’s message with ease.
