What I liked
I very much enjoyed the power all along the show and how every beat she described was immersing just by using very little props. Joyful tells her story but never seems to have been a victim of what had happened to her, making her character(s) live in the present even when it took place in the past. Feminism is good for everyone! My husband and I really enjoyed her show and her interaction with the audience. Bravo Joyful! Glad we made the trip from San Diego! Merci beaucoup !
What I didn't like
Seriously, I don’t see anything! It was wonderfully produced, written and performed. There was no beat that made me feel like I was expecting or awaiting something else. Her show kept us on our toes!
My overall impression
Well done! It was entertaining and a very well done show! We can tell that Joyful’s element is live theater!
