What I liked
She is a very talented actress with very good comedic timing. I don’t know a lot about acting but I don’t think most people could pull this play off. I’m assuming she wrote the entire play because it is a very personal story, and the creative writing was exceptional as well.
What I didn't like
Quite honestly I think it all worked. I didn’t see a lot that I thought needs to be improved. It seem like the play was over an hour, but there wasn’t a minute where you’re looking at your watch or thinking about something else. She was engaging throughout the whole thing, time flew by
My overall impression
I go to the theater every few months here in Los Angeles, and typically to the bigger productions. This is one of my first times going to a very small independent theater to see a one person act. In this particular case, this performance thrilled me like the bigger productions and well-known experiences.
