What I liked
Joyful’s relationship with the audience. It really felt like she was our best friend, a trusted confidant. Joyful did an incredible job taking this this sensitive topic and personal journey and illuminating it with comforting humor and unalloyed hope.
What I didn't like
There were some funny physical bits that I just wish she went further with! Specifically when her bff was doing yoga. That was so funny, I just wanted her to do it for longer and let it get crazier.
My overall impression
Funny, engaging, and touching piece of solo performance. Joyful has an ease with the audience and no shortage of funny, charming stories to tell. It moves fast and breaths just where it needs to.
