What I liked
All four of the women gave wonderful performances. Their stories were specific and universal at the same time. They also worked well as an ensemble and the pantomiming that three of them did as one of them spoke was very well done. The way that they opened and closed the show was great.
What I didn't like
I would like to see an expanded version of the show that was longer. I feel like there is room to let the stories breathe more and follow the performers’ arcs in more detail. I’m eager to see it whenever it exists.
My overall impression
Yoniverse is an excellent and moving piece of theater. Highly recommended.
