What I liked
I loved the raw, vulnerable storytelling! Every woman in the audience could identify and relate. They masterfully intertwined four separate experiences into one moving, cohesive piece. The staging and direction were flawless – they moved from narrative to act out and back seamlessly. These four talented actresses made me laugh, made me cry, and made me brave!
What I didn't like
No redirects – I loved it!
My overall impression
Yoniverse was the inspiring, coming-of-age story of four beautiful, Brown women who pushed past the limiting beliefs of family and society to find their voices, step into their power and own their womanhood.
