I recently had the opportunity to witness the awe-inspiring stage show, "Yoni Ki Kahaniya". This Indian portrayal of "The Vagina Monologues" was a true masterpiece that showcased the immense talent and dedication of its four actresses - Chhaya, Tanya, Sapna, and Sharmita. Every aspect of the performance, from the writing to the use of scarves, was executed with magnificence and grace. Chhaya's contribution left a profound impact on me and I am certain the entire audience. Her stories are not only deeply personal but also thought-provoking, shedding light on important issues that often remain unspoken, and unheard. It takes immense bravery to share such vulnerable experiences on stage, and Chhaya did so with utter sincerity and poetic grac... full review

Bravo, ladies! "Yoni Ki Kahaniya" is an extraordinary production that exudes courage, dynamism, and boundless imagination, captivating the audience from beginning to end. Under the expert guidance of Marianne Davis, this emotive masterpiece leaves an indelible impact. The immensely talented ensemble fearlessly shares their personal anecdotes, forging profound connections with the audience and embracing their bodies with unapologetic pride. The ingenious incorporation of props, notably the exquisite scarves, infuses the performance with interactivity and innovative flair.... full review

The cast members of "Yoni Ki Kahaniya" are not only incredibly talented, magnetic and charming, but what Tanya, Chhaya, Sharmita, Sapna, and Vee have created here is, in my opinion, a tribute to the alchemical power of sisterhood. And it's badass. Watching each of these four South Asian women spill the most vulnerable and intimate stories you can imagine out onto the floor of a crowded theater while their sisters support them through small choreographed vignettes left such a lasting impression on me. It made me reflect on the community I keep, and stood as a testament to the importance of supporting/protecting each other to allow us the space to explore who we are and what we feel has shaped us. Through a multitude of talents includi... full review

The play was really well-structured. We eased into the play with light-hearted humor before diving into very real, deep-rooted issues as the play progressed. Every story in the play was filled with unique experiences and vibrant characters. They drew me in very naturally and had me drawing parallels to my own life as a South Asian kid. That being said, I think this play is for people of all backgrounds - it's a treat to watch Chhaya, Tanya, Sharmita and Sapna come together and have sharing their personal stories in such a vulnerable yet entertaining manner. Well done y'all!... full review

One of the best shows I’ve seen this year. All four of these women are incredibly talented and charismatic. The way they blend the monologues together and stage the show is beautiful and also incredibly cute. I would watch any of these women in anything. A perfect ensemble, well directed, this show has it all. I laughed, I cried. This is a show in for best variety show... full review
