There are some powerful moments as Austin takes you along his journey out of rock-bottom. It takes so much strength to go from hopelessness to self-assuredness, and Austin is charming, poignant and vulnerable as he shares his story. 10/10 Absolutely remarkable! I was pleasantly surprised with Austin’s performance. The mix between humor and heartfelt moments that tugged at my emotions was perfectly executed. I felt like I was there with him through his journey the entire time, so much so that I felt his feelings; his anguish and pain, the remorse and fear, the desire and devastation but best of all his victories and feeling of coming full circle and finally feeling a sense of belonging and love. At one point I found myself crying uncontrollably with tears of happiness that his life wasn’t taken before he was finally able to find himself. Austin's personal story is inspiring and heartfelt and, just as a good piece of performance art should, it encouraged me to reflect on my own personal journey. I am grateful for Austin's courage to be so open and honest about his experience.
