I loved how Becca’s physicality connected to every character she embodied. I thought the soundtrack was great. I thought the humor was nuanced. And I loved, loved the honesty.
What I didn't like
Some moments with Truth, Society, and Heart felt slow, maybe a little on the nose, but I also really enjoyed the thought process and meaning behind it. The deodorant commercial intermission – although funny – felt like a digression. I’m not really sure if any of it should be changed, but those are moments that stood out to me.
My overall impression
Becca bared her soul on stage, offering a nuanced portrait of one’s journey to self-love which included an impressive ability to transform into all types of characters all while having the audience laugh along to a catchy soundtrack.
