The show is well acted, and clearly exposes the internal pulls and pushes of a wrenching decision. The music, original, has intelligent lyrics that move the story along quite well. The way the playwright brought in the “voices in her head” is clever, funny in part and add important elements to the story.
What I didn't like
Not much. Clearly, a lot of work is behind this 80 or so minutes, demonstrated by the solid construction and the energy of the performer.
My overall impression
This is a well constructed story of one man’s transition coming out as trans gender. The show is well paced, funny, bittersweet, happy and will be a thoroughly satisfying theater experience.
