What I liked

I was particularly impressed by the chemistry of the two actors on-stage. They seemed to have a wonderful flow going on between them. While I’m sure it isn’t easy playing multiple characters, I was never confused about which number date Zachary Hart was meant to be portraying. And big kudos to Hector Zapata Romero… he was exceptionally vulnerable and giving in his portrayal of Uziel – the protagonist looking for love.
I appreciated the projections to help tell the audience which number date Uziel was on and the music was delightful as well.

What I didn't like

The only note I have would be that some moments were done in the dark or were a little difficult for me to see the actors faces. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this piece.

My overall impression

This show really captures the difficulties that individuals (and to a larger degree, couples) can have in finding and sustaining relationships. These issues are compounded when you add in the scary life-long medical diagnosis of HIV. The writing and story-telling in this show are very compelling, honest and done with great sensitivity. Some of the lines are truly beautiful and definitely stay with you!
