The play is told across timelines, and Beck’s technique of navigating the time warps is both creative and insightful. The production is fast-paced, yet flows effortlessly from one era to another.

My overall impression
All American by Lynn Grant Beck proved to be a memorable and delightful night of theater. The ensemble cast delivered strong performances, and brought us immediately into their world. I was especially blown away by the character of Sophia who halfway through the show delivers a powerful monologue that has stayed with me.

Beck’s writing has us riveted one moment and giggling the next. It was a wonderful ride!
