What I liked

Kamakshi’s portrayal of her inner parts of Shame, Betrayal and The Silencer were riveting! I also love how giving she is as a performer! Her singing was a gift to the very receptive audience and we just jumped in and sang along with her at times! As a therapist by trade, I love Kamakshi’s insights into recovery and healing ❤️‍🩹 I also loved her Oak Tree Wise One who embodies compassion and understanding to everyone! This is truly a tour de force show that you don’t want to miss!

What I didn't like

I wished Kamakshi had water on stage as I felt her pain of doing such a demanding show!

I loved how Shame and Betrayal transformed into Vulnerability and Self Esteem but I would have loved to have seen that acted out dramatically. That is the only critique.

My overall impression

I am a big fan of Kamakshi as a human being and as a performer! Her show, Wild at Heart, was so inspiring and powerful that I had to see her 2nd how, Resilient AF. Again, Kamakshi delivered a gut wrenching performance including her gift of song. She tackles child and adult abuse in such a thought provoking way! She also educates and entertains while unraveling her layers of PTSD and resilience in such a beautiful and empowering way!
