Niek Versteeg is mesmerizing to watch as Tommy Cooper. He was able to transport me to a different time, in a different land, and had me laughing and crying. Niek was able to create a story as well as an image of this man whom I never have heard of yet, now feels I know more about. Fantastic!...

Niek Versteeg is a real talent and his acting chops were considerable but, the direction of this show was abysmal. Slowing down the action for useless breaks so that Versteeg could cross the stage in darkness. These interludes were not helped by somewhat lackluster and banal writing. There is a truly interesting show in there, but not in this iteration....
