What I liked
I wasn’t sure what role the 1990s reenactment videos served in the tale. I enjoyed the notion, but I wasn’t sure what I was expected to get out of it, so it seemed redundant in comparison to the strength that was viscerally there on stage.
What I didn't like
A beautiful show of grace and grit, real emotion and humor that made me cry more times than I can count! My friend and I appreciated being a part of and seeing this beautiful meditation on how to free your own self-image. Stickman Hook
My overall impression
I enjoyed how the monologues were written in a conversational approach and how the two performers switched off, each telling a separate story in their own way.
