What I liked
I loved Vejune and Amanda. I felt like I knew them personally. They opened up and shared themselves. It was very personal. I laughed and cried. And, the best thing, it’s been on my mind since. That’s pretty great when you enjoy a performance, and it has the added benefit of creating a lasting impact.
What I didn't like
I loved all of it. If I had to pick one teeny thing, I felt the video re-enactments took me out of the moment and away from the lovely personal contact with Vejune and Amanda.
My overall impression
The show was very moving. Amanda and Vejune were powerful, vulnerable, funny, informative, and entertaining. At the same time, they delivered a strong message about gratitude, self love, and acceptance. It made me promise to be kinder and more loving of my own body. I hope they will take this show to other venues, so more people have an opportunity to hear their important message.
