I liked the intimacy of a sisterhood story, the way the play unfolds giving you just enough information to keep you on the edge of your seat. When the secrets are revealed, there is so much humor despite the darkness. The story is so thoughtful and rich. It lingers in your thoughts.
What I didn't like
I thought that while the older sister overall did a good job, her performance was a little one-note. It would be wonderful to see a more dynamic approach to anger and shame. In an ideal setting I would also like to see more stage design, but I do understand the limitations of a festival blackbox.
My overall impression
An incredible intimate show with hilarious twists and turns! It will keep you engaged and at the edge of your seat, rolling with laughter and brimming with compassion. A must-see!
