My overall impression
MADE IN AMERICA is intense, but nothing short of captivating. Teruko immerses the audience in her story through an expressive and effortlessly engaging performance. She shares her intimate struggles as well as her strength. The next time I hear the United States National Anthem, I’m going to think of Teruko because it’s stories like hers that exemplify the bravery and affirm the pride this country contains. In short, MADE IN AMERICA is life-affirming.
