This show was absolutely incredible. It’s 100% the best show I’ve ever seen at the Fringe Festival, it was better than 90% of the things I’ve seen on Broadway, and it’s now my third favorite musical of all time. It was truly an epic journey. ... full review

Just when I think I've seen the best show I've seen at Fringe, The Legend of D.C. Colorado swoops in and makes a bold and hilarious statement of it's own. What a hilarious ride full of perfectly cheesy comedy, great characters played by great actors, and the best use of projector as an aid to storytelling. At no point did the show drag. Characters were campy in the most comical way. Not being a typical musical fan myself, I can say this show is a musical for people who don't like musicals. I plan to see it again!... full review

This show is one hell of a good time. Completely original, including the music, these creatives go above and beyond to deliver a high energy and heartfelt adventure that is unlike any you've seen before. Once the lights come up, you are IN this world of D.C. Colorado, you can leave your own worries behind and simply have a good time.... full review

A funny, impressive, inventive, and ORIGINAL musical the likes of which I've truly never seen before. This show is what the Fringe is at its best: a tight group of creatives on the exact same wavelength with a STRONG, UNIQUE VISION, working together to present something new and exciting to the world. Anyone who sees this show now will count themselves lucky that they did so before it inevitably becomes a larger production or even a movie. ... full review

The Legend of D.C. Colorado is much like the jackalope; a fantastical and elusive beast of magical portents that both charms and inspires. Truly unlike any other musical I've experienced, the absurd and hilarious nature of this slapstick & tongue-in-cheek comedy serves up the finest "dumb" humor one moment, and witty, intellectual, and self-referential barbs the next. The cast brilliantly executes snappy dialogue and full-throatedly commits to their spectacularly bold and outlandish characters. Walking in, I knew nothing about this story or the vehicle in which it'd be told -- thankfully, D.C. Colorado knows exactly what it is; an entertaining, trippy, wild (west) ride that will leave you grinning from ear to ear.... full review

An ambitious, funny, and surprisingly heartfelt show! Creators and stars Constantine Malahias and Chris Merlino channel Mel Brooks and Tenacious D among others into a true, good ol’ fashioned adventure filled with great characters played by a multi-talented ensemble cast including Felix Birdie (who also composed and co-wrote many of the songs), Jack de Sanz, Lo Artiz, Joey Swift, and Gwynn Ballard. Each of them have at least a baker’s dozen of stand-out moments and their collective chemistry is infectiously fun. Alessandra Mesa’s directorial eye grounds the wild adventure with simple and effective staging and a smooth pace, even staking down the emotional beats without losing the fun. Overall, as someone familiar with both Hollywood Fri... full review

Think South Park meets O' Brother Where Art Thou..... This is a big show being produced on a small stage and they are doing it as well as you can (and better than most big stage productions...) The acting is superb and the music is highly enjoyable. Production value is huge on this show and for the $10 ticket price you can't possibly get more bang for your buck!! Looking forward to the next production from this crew!... full review
