What I liked
Honestly, not much. Ascension Day is a deeply moving piece about young people and the bonds they form at a Christian summer camp. slope
What I didn't like
The performances were wonderful. The young ensemble brought such sincerity and heart to the stage. Each performer had their moment to shine, and you could really feel their passion for the work.
My overall impression
The only slightly disappointing thing was that I couldn’t always see the actors upstage when they were speaking — sometimes the performers downstage blocked my view. It might just have been my seat, though.
