Each of her Characters were radically different. A one woman show which truly felt like 6 people. This was an extremely informative documentary piece which made even the most jaded and freakish squirm in a good way. It's easy be open about certain topics but this performer brought us to another world of viewpoint. Annie had a way of making pornography cerebral and Sophia was able to unwrap this for her audience in a very respectful and convincing way.... full review

The Annie Sprinkle Project embodies the real power of live theater to push audiences to think boldly, feel deeply, and learn something new. Evocative, educational, entertaining, and raw - this work not only tugs at audience members' heartstrings, but inspires them to ask big questions about human sexuality, gender, performance art, and arts activism. ... full review

I was on the front row last night for the Annie Sprinkles Project. Sophia showed up and showed out! Watching her embody each character was an exercise in “actor-multiple-personalities “ she embodied so many people it was hard to catch up with her jubilant joyful energy. I will admit I covered my eyes when she inserted…but I knew it was for the sake of her art and after all her mother was there and she had no problem with it, I think 🤔? @Sophia LaPaglia thank you for that amazing theater ride. You are a natural genius... full review

I learned so much about this incredible figure I didn't know about before. I laughed! I cried! I left feeling truly inspired. As someone also doing a Fringe show that heavily discusses/portrays sex, I felt grateful. Grateful that someone was bold enough to fully own their body and queer, kinky, feminist sexuality back in 1991, paving the way for so many other shows to step into that arena and more safely tell their stories. And grateful that Sophia crafted this fun and impactful show which gave me the opportunity to learn about Annie and her work. ... full review
